This Husband Just Put Up His Whiny Wife For Sale On EBay

There is almost little or no exaggeration when I say that if you need to buy something, you’d probably find it on eBay.

Need to get a wedding gown? Or a new mobile phone? Having no luck looking for that hard-to-find collectible? Want a Darth Vader helmet for your upcoming costume party? You bet everything is just a search away on eBay! There’s always a seller out there who has exactly what you need.

One guy from the United Kingdom, however, took things a little too far when he put his wife up for sale on the said site.

Sounds ridiculous, you say? Well, read on and see for yourself.

Simon O’Kane put his wife Leandra up for sale on eBay.wife sale on eBay

Simon said:

“I came in after work feeling a bit tired and unwell – my was wife doing the usual concerned bit but said I was burning the candle at both ends and was basically just whining at me.

“I thought ‘right I’m going to put you up for sale.’”

Simon compared his wife to a vehicle indicating she has “decent bodywork” and is “not new but still got some good miles left in her.”

A motorcycle enthusiast, Simon compared Leandra to a pre-owned vehicle, saying she has “decent bodywork.” He even went as far as warning interested buyers that his wife is “not new has been used but still got some good miles left in her.”

Eventually, a lot of interested buyers contacted Simon – and there were many serious bidders.

bid for buy girls

Surprisingly, a lot of people took an interest in the unusual “item” on eBay. Bids reached as high as US$87,150 (£65,880) in just a couple of days – a price that’s actually higher than BMWs, Jaguars, and Mercedes.

So how do you think Leandra felt when she found out about it?

The 27-year-old beauty therapist shared:

“Everyone at work saw it and were laughing their heads off. Not only did he put me up for sale but he used such a bad photo.”

Naturally, she also added:

“I was absolutely fuming. I wanted to kill him.”

Simon, however, said he’s just grateful his wife doesn’t take all his pranks too seriously.

“I’m really lucky that she’s such a legend and takes all my pranks on the chin.”

The post has since been removed from eBay but the couple is actually interested as to how much the highest bid would have been if it was still up.
